DESCRIPTION
Also known as First Aid Plant, Miracle Plant, Burn Plant, True Aloe, and African Aloe, the Aloe Vera is a succulent houseplant that’s just as beautiful as it is practical. The gel inside its spiky, stylish, and deep green pointy leaves acts as a traditional sunburn soother, relieving redness when used topically to mild burns.
Since it is a succulent, the aloe vera is accustomed to arid environments so the key to hydrating it is deep but infrequent waterings. Generally, once every two weeks should be sufficient for an aloe vera. To keep the plant happy, situate it in a bright spot indoors or you can also keep them outdoors.
When placed outdoors and cared for properly, the aloe vera can produce a tall flower spike from which dozens of tubular yellow or red blossoms appear.
